Even if you already have a job, that’s fantastic! We still need you to complete the application so we have your student records for enrollment purposes. If you’re not employed in your preferred career area, no worries! The application process will provide the details we need to possibly connect you to the right position.

Youth Apprenticeship (YA) Program Terms of Enrollment Agreement(Required)

Applying to the YA program does not guarantee a job interview or job placement.

YA student work and school schedules must overlap for at least one semester to fulfill the requirements of the Youth Apprenticeship program.

YA students are responsible for finding reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

YA students are required to maintain a positive attitude and observe all company and school policies.

YA student work release privileges can be revoked for behavioral and attendance concerns and/or failure to maintain passing classroom grades.

YA students are responsible to maintain communication with employer and school district liaison regarding hour verification, schedule conflicts, and other concerns.

YA students are required to complete a minimum of 450 training hours within a one-year period or prior to graduation. To complete this requirement, students on average work 10-15 hours per week. YA students are able to include up to 200 training hours from summer employment with a YA employer to apply toward their total hour requirement.

YA students that are terminated and/or fail to successfully complete the program hours, competencies, or coursework could result in earning zero credits for the Youth Apprenticeship program.
